Your French Riviera Local Expert:
Laura & James from the UK, and both from an Armed Forces background wanted to take up a new challenge in a part of the world they both loved and the lure of the beautifully chic French Riviera seemed the perfect solution. Still very much at the start of their journey as franchisees they have high hopes for the website over the coming years.
Having served 8 years as a Royal Marines Commando and leaving in 2005, James started work with a multi-national security risk management company and is contracted to the British Embassy in Iraq and divides his time between the two. Having travelled extensively and lived in Austria, Czech Republic and South Africa it is a welcome change to settle in the wonderful and more social environment of the Riviera.
Following her studies at University, Laura joined the Royal Navy in 2000 and has deployed around the globe to countries such as Oman, Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. Both ship & shore based, her roles have been wide and varied. Laura's background in office administration, management and logistics and her responsibility for the organisation of travel for naval personnel is an invaluable skill to assist in the smooth running of day to day management of the French Riviera Franchise.
For the immediate future, Laura will manage My Riviera Info on a fulltime basis and James will continue his role with the British Embassy whilst assisting Laura in his spare time. Both Laura & James are delighted to be part of the My destination family and relish the challenge and experience the next few years will bring in a region of the world they both adore.
